Artist's Description
The goal in this photo was to get star trails and light trails from the PM Amtrak. The Amtrak was running behind schedule and I instead captured NS-9545. I gave up on the photo at 1.5 hours into the shot. The main reason for giving up on the photo was clouds moving in. About one hour into the shot I was questioned by local law enforcement on what I was doing. After my explanation they reminded me to be safe and went on their way.
The photo was captured in Wellford SC. The light bridge in the photo has been removed and replaced with the latest equipment, a single light pole on both sides of the track. In fact, I think NS has removed all light bridges.
